Menzel Grammar School was part of the European Springday Movement, when in 2003 more than 5000 European schools with hundreds of thousand pupils organised their own "Spring Day in Europe" and made ther voice heard in the debate on the future of Europe. The "Spring Day in Europe" initiative was created to support the European Convention.
